Safety

Three Way, Inc. is committed to operating safely and efficiently. Our most valuable assets are our employees. Three Way, Inc. created a standalone safety department that functions independently of job production goals to develop and administer companywide safety practices and procedures. The Safety Department works side by side with management so that safety philosophy and directives are effectively communicated to the field employees and their operations. To prevent a potential conflict of interest between safety and production, the Safety Department is led by a nonemployee member of management.
To involve all levels of employees the safety department created a safety committee made up of nonmanagement, nonsupervisor employees. The mission of the safety committee is to review trends, procedures, no-harm incident reports and incidents so that work processes can be continually improved. This participation from field employees is invaluable from a knowledge base perspective; but it also engages field personnel in our safety philosophy and culture at the grass root level.
Three Way, Inc. holds our sub-contractors to the same safety standards we hold to ourselves.
Three Way Inc. demands a drug free workforce. We require pre-employment, random and post incident drug screen tests. Every supervisor is trained to recognize signs of substance use and/or abuse and can demand a drug test based on reasonable suspicion.
Between 2002 and 2007 Three Way, Inc. received First Place Safety Awards from the Wyoming Contractors Association in the 100,000 to 200,000 man hours worked category.
The Three Way, Inc. Safety Department believes employee training is an effective and important step in creating a safe work environment and creating a companywide culture of safety.
