Director of Safety

Rich was promoted to Director of Safety in November, 2008 after having been a safety officer for Three Way, Inc. since March, 2006. His background is in Wyoming law enforcement and fire service, observing, protecting and enforcing public safety. He spent twenty-seven years as a peace officer, seventeen of those years as a fire investigator for the State of Wyoming. Rich has also been a volunteer firefighter since 1977. He has trained police and fire personnel since 1979. He has responded to and investigated numerous incidents in the oil and mining industries, observing what happens when safety is not the first consideration. He believes that the key to an effective safety program is training. "Everyone wants to be safe. No one wants to be injured. Many just don't know how to accomplish that." Rich also believes that "ZERO Incidents" within a company is an achievable goal.
